St. Anne to Build Catholic School
(Pictured left to right: Emma Broussard, Guy Broussard, John Broussard and standing Fr. Jason Mouton.)
After many, many years of meetings, deliberations, and much prayer to the Holy Spirit, generous donors (Guy, John & Emma Broussard) have stepped forward and the paperwork was signed, sealed, and delivered on December 23, 2015 to donate 15 acres of land for the construction of a Catholic School for our parish of St. Anne which will be named St. Paul Catholic School. The school's location will be off of Hwy 89 north in the Sable Palms subdivision (across from Cracker Barrel Gas Station).
This will be a three year process but it is imperative that families who would consider enrolling their children in our school formally register in the parish and begin contributing to have preferential option for enrollment.
The grade levels will be Pre-K thru 8th and will most likely be done in phases upon consultation with an Architect, the Diocese and Board of Directors (which will be appointed by Father Mouton after consultation with the Pastoral Council). Any questions may be directed to Fr. Jason Mouton, Pastor (
) or Deacon Wynard Boutte' (
) , Pastoral Assistant.
Great News of Great Joy!!!
