Jesus comes to us!! Eucharistic Ministers must maintain a strong faith and awe in the most intimate moment in the liturgy.

Eucharistic Ministry to Homebound

This ministry maintains a vital connection with our homebound parishioners and the gathered parishioners at mass. Our homebound are visited on a regular basis, to get to know them, pray with them and administer the Body of Christ.

The lectors proclaim the good news of Christ with reverence, making God present to the gathered parishioners. Prayer leaders read the 1 st and 2 nd readings as well as the Responsorial Psalm when it is not sung during Mass. Lectors are expected to dress in a modest and respectful manner.

Commentators

Volunteers welcome the congregation and read the announcements at the beginning of the Mass. They are also responsible for reading the prayers of the faithful after the Homily. Commentators are expected to dress in a modest and respectful manner.
