Faith and Justice

Members of this committee assist the poor and needy of our community by providing available resources to them. They also strive to teach the importance of personal growth and self reliance. Each family’s home is visited to assess their needs and provide assistance when needed. Additional duties include researching legitimate need and network with other resources and churches to provide services as they warrant. Food Pantry (part of Faith and Justice)

Assist committee in organizing, keeping inventor, stocking shelves and removing expired products. They also assist with yearly food drives that are held in the parish.

Meals on Wheels

Meals are served to those 55 years and older each weekday and meals are packaged for home bound citizens for delivery. Once a year Flu shots are given through this program supplied by the Council on Aging and a Home Health Nurse. Every 4-5 months a drug store pharmacist comes by and checks medications to make sure there are no drug interactions.

Loaves & Fishes Ministry

Volunteers assist with serving and preparing meals for the Teen Religion program, First Communion & Confirmation reception, Young at Heart and other social events that require food preparation on an as needed basis.

Pro-Life

To respect, protect and serve Life from conception to natural death. These individuals are responsible for assisting in the placement of the crosses in front of church during Pro-life Month, and bringing materials to our parish from the Diocesan Office of Pro- Life, organize a group from our parish to attend the annual Right to Life March in our Diocese or in our nation’s capitol. We need you to lead us in the march to protect life.

Greeting Card Ministry (NEW)

This ministry is responsible for sending out cards to parishioners for milestone birthdays and anniversaries, births, get well, sympathy, Christmas, etc.
